SBI Europe is a German sensor technology developer of smart sensors and state-of-the-art data analytics software for bioprocessing applications. After the merger with our American based entity last year, it is our aim is to take the guesswork out of bioprocessing and pioneer digitally simplified bioprocessing by providing actionable insights from lab to production floor.

Our team is looking for a vibrant self-starter to complement our young up-and-coming business. We are offering the opportunity for a (Senior) Full Stack Developer (F/M/D) to join our Software Development Team in Germany. You will be part of a growing team and support the conception & development of exciting new features to connect our online optical sensors with real-time data analytics.


About the role:

  • End to end software development: Turn your ideas into code to grow & improve our applications from the back-end to the front-end to make our sensor platform lift science to the next level.
  • As part of an agile team, you are significantly involved in the development and design of our software products. You will enjoy the daily challenges of working with our existing software and enhancing its features.
  • You love the challenge of learning quickly and hitting the ground running while assisting your fellow team members with various projects.
  • With a supportive and relaxed atmosphere in this small team, you will thrive in demonstrating your initiative and putting forward your ideas whilst maintaining existing standards.


About you:

  • You have successfully completed your IT studies with a relevant focus or have a comparable qualification
  • You have experience in active software development (5 years would be great, but not a must), including knowledge of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular. Basic understanding of Python & Spring Boot would be beneficial.
  • You thrive in an environment of trust.

  • You know how to think outside the box and work solution orientated.
  • You see an opportunity for growth in the things you don't know, and don’t shy away when you’re a little out of your depth
